Oily fish

Evidence indicated significant improvements in triglycerides and HDL levels (important biomarkers of cardiovascular risk) as a result of oily fish consumption.

Salmon, mackerel, sardines, trout and herring are all examples of oily fish. Oily fish are: high in long-chain omega-3 fatty acids, which may help to prevent heart disease.
